Woven Fabrics :
This systematic looking types of fabrics are made by intertwining two groups of yarns perpendicular to each other, which makes it more durable. It can be easily cut into different shapes to make beautiful styles. Some examples of the woven fabric are Satin, Denim, Corduroy, Flannel, Muslin, Chiffon, and Georgette, among others.
Knitted Fabrics :
Knitting is the process of creating a fabric with one or more groups of yarns by a system of interloping loops of the yarn. The yarns are formed into rows of loops into which other rows are interlaced.
There are two types of knitting based on how the loops are made: Weft and Warp.
The Weft Knitted fabrics are — Jersey, Rib, Purl, Tuck, and Interlock.
Some of the Warp knitted fabrics are — Tricots, Raschel knits, Milanese, Fleece, and Intarsia.
